My computer parts have started shipping! Yay!

I was at Micro Center the other day, to scope out cases. Most of them were plasticky and really naff. I want something sexy and cool, not something that looks like a spray painted rendition of Optimus Prime, in case form.

I kind of wish I knew more about computers, because knowing about that techie stuff strikes me as cool. I am not a particularly techie person, although I am comfortable with using computers and such. Because of my state of non-techi-ness, people who know about that techie stuff also strike me as cooler than the average non-techie person.

I'm lucky to have a techie friend who's willing to build me a computer.

He and his flatemate already have Guild Wars, so when I join the game, they'll be like a billion levels above me. And I'll be weak and crap. Oh well.

I'm looking forward to doing MMORPG 'research' in Guild Wars. Hehe. Soon I will be able to experience, firsthand, some (if not all) of those MMORPG horror stories told by women gamers. Of course, I will be posting my experiences here. I can't wait.
