We Have Been Naughty, Completely Naughty

I've been too busy reviewing games and playing table-top RPGs to play the games on my list. I did buy Minna Daisuki Katamari Damacy, but I have not spent much time rolling around.

I have a confession to make. Remember how I said that I wouldn't deviate from that little list up there? That it was set in stone, and that those would be the only games that I would buy for the rest of 2005? Well, I cracked. I ordered a copy of Planescape: Torment. This is one of the games that I swore I would get when I had a (nice) computer of my own. I think what I will have to do is simply choose one game from my list and remove that. Of course, the PC version of Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth might not even be out this year, so perhaps I can just replace that with Planescape: Torment.

Yay! Torment is one of the most mature (thematically) RPG's I've played and it's always good to hear that someone new is getting into it, especially since it's getting to be so old... It would be awesome to see a progressive review of that game on TGC.

Speaking of which, if you like Torment, you might want to check out KOTOR II, as it was made by the same guys.

I got as far as installing it, and patching it up last night. I'll probably start it when I've gotten a few things out of the way.

For TGC? That might be worth considering.

Very good girl. Torment is an awesome game... probably my favorite. I love that damn game. I've played it like two or three times. It's really messed up.

Other good ones are Fallout 1, II and Arcanum... by the now defunkt Troika team. I believe some of them were invovled in torment.

Damn, it's a great game!

Planescape: Torment is one of the best RPG titles ever. I hope that you're willing to look past the now very dated 640x480 graphics and see what a tremendous story it offers. I in fact just recently reinstalled it and have been having fun replaying this classic game. Cheers!
